When is the next tournament?
Early 2016 at Westpac Stadium, Wellington, New Zealand.
I am working for a news organisation and would like to receive media updates and releases about the event. How do I do this?
Email Meredith.Keys@nzrugby.co.nz and you will be added to the media distribution list for the Sevens Wellington.
Can I take photographs of the tournament and sell them commercially?
No, this is restricted by the terms and conditions of media accreditation.
I am an amateur photographer and would like to shoot this event, what should I do?
Unfortunately at Sevens Wellington we are unable to accommodate photographers that want to cover the event to build a portfolio. Accredited photographers are limited to those working for a bona fide news organisation due to the size and nature of this event.
How do I get accreditation for this event?
Media accreditation for 2016 is not yet open. If you wish to apply for accreditation, please Meredith.Keys@nzrugby.co.nz and you will be placed on the request list.
When do media accreditation applications close?
What if I don’t get my application in on time?
If the media allocation is not already full then applications may be considered. If for some reason you will not be able to meet the accreditation deadline then please email Meredith.Keys@nzrugby.co.nz
When will I receive my accreditation, if I am successful?
Successful applicants will be contacted individually about collection of media accreditation and tournament related information in January 2016.
